that is a good setup. However, the video card will be the achilles heal when it comes to games. The 8600 is not very powerful. If you are not going to game a ton, then it will do...but something a bit more powerful would produce a much better experience. Try a 9600 instead. It costs about $100 more, but has 2x the memory bandwidth at 256-bit instead of the 8600s 128-bit. That can go a long way in video performance.
