Roll Top Desk--Want to sell?

I have an Oak Roll Top Desk dated somewhere around 1940-1960. It has 3 pull out drawers on right side, may compartments on desk w/a small drawer and of course the roll top. Not sure if it's really considered an antique or not. It needs minor fixing which I'm willing to have done or could sell as is. If anyone knows about how much I could sell it for or know of a website I could look at to give me an idea.. it would be greatly appreciated.
If you read what I wrote carefully.. I didn't say that it WAS for sale, I said that I was WILLING to sell it.. I wasn't trying to post a sale.. I just wasn't sure what I could get for it. As for your info... I know aobut the TOS... If I was trying to sell it don't you think I would have like posted a price or something.... like a real sale?

One of the least expensive things that you can do to redecorate your bathroom is to paint. When choosing paint, remember that the bathroom is a place of high humidity. You will also want a paint that will be washable when dry and fully cured. Be sure to properly mask all fixtures to keep the paint off of them.

Another inexpensive way to change the look of an older bathroom is to add new flooring. One of the least expensive is the peal and stick tile that will just stick over the older flooring. The larger the tile, the better adhesion you will have. If you can use the eighteen inch tiles, there is a black and white checked pattern that is perfect for a retro bathroom.

One often overlooked element that can make a real difference in the appearance of the bathroom is the toilet seat. If yours is starting to have peeling paint or is cracked, change it now and your bathroom will have a crisper cleaner look. The best seats have metal hinges rather than the nylon ones. These metal hinges do not separate like the other ones will.

If choosing a theme, remember that it should reflect your own personality and lifestyle. The bathroom of a young family may have a totally different theme than that of a single professional.

Many young families are choosing the rubber duck theme. You can find accessories in this theme in many department stores. You can also pick up a few of the rubber ducks in the toy department and add accessories that match the colors of the ducks placed around the bathroom. Blue, white, yellow and orange will dominate the theme. Shower curtains and towels could be chosen in one or more of these solid colors. Then you may want to choose one of the matching accessories to complete the look. By the way, it is perfectly acceptable for adults to float the rubber ducks in the tub. Just be sure that you dry them off before leaving the bathroom.

Choose themes that reflect your family's loves and passions. A nautical theme is perfect for a family that loves to spend the summers at the beach. Use a large shell for a soap dish. Use fish nets or even net hammocks as accessories for the room. These nets can be used to collect many of the things that tend to get loose in the bathroom.

If you are not into themes for the bathroom but still want a new look, try adding new towels and a shower curtain in different colors that the previous ones. When chosen carefully, they can give the bathroom a whole new look. Add a silk floral arrangement for bathrooms without natural lighting and live plants for bathrooms with windows. When choosing live plants, look for those which thrive in high humidity.

As you decorate your bathroom, remember that it is your own special room. Make it your place to relax.
