Here's a riddle. Think Rationally!!!?
Ok. You are stuck in a room with 4 white walll and a white celing and a white floor. You have absolutely no way out, no windows, no doors, no hidden rooms or anything. All you have with you is a mirror and a wooden bench. Like a wooden bus stop bench. How do you get out of that room?

You don't need fancy cardio machines to help you lose weight. In fact, a good weight loss program can be done with bodyweight exercises only. You don't even need traditional "cardio" to do this...or an expensive gym membership.

The military builds men though running and bodyweight exercises, they don't send them to the gym to stand in front of a mirror and do curls they need these men and women as physically fit as possible, they need to defend our country.
Another great part of this type of training is that if you don't want to, you don't need to buy a single thing. No more paying $50 per month for a gym membership, just to have to sit there and wait for the next sweat covered macho man to get off the bench press. Although there are many things you can buy, especially once you start progressing, it's not necessary to get a great workout.
This goes along the same lines as reason #1. Of course you can gain strength, it's simple physics! Let's take handstand pushups, for example. Are these people telling me that pushing up your own bodyweight isn't going to make you stronger? I bet most bodybuilders can't even do one!
Bodyweight exercises also can be used to achieve a specific goal, even more easily than other types of exercises. It is relatively easy to switch a bodyweight exercise routine around to lose weight, tone up, build muscle, or increase flexibility. It is much more difficult to switch a jogging routine from weight loss to muscle building, or a weightlifting routine from mass building to flexibility.
And bodyweight exercises are fun! You challenge ONLY yourself to do one more set. It isn't dangerous. You won't get hurt doing pushups, pull-ups or lunges. You get arm pumps, abs workouts, blood moving around and giving your heart and lungs a great workout. Plus, you are giving your body a metabolic boost, which will burn away your fat.
Chin Ups are an excellent bodyweight exercise for adding strength and muscle mass to your biceps. Chin Ups are a compound exercise that also works the latissimus dorsi ("lats") and rhomboid muscles on the sides and upper-middle portion of your back.
