How do I take down an Ikea Lack Shelf?

I have some ikea lack floating shelves on the wall of my new flat (inherited from the last tenant) and I want to take them down, how do I do it? I've tried pulling and sliding every which way but they won't budge. Thank you. x

there should be 2 small screws on the underside of the shelf,when undone the shelf should slide off toward you,you are then left with just the brackets which are easily unscrewed
