Dining Dinette
IMPORTANT Q about apt decorating!!!?
Hey all! I was wondering what kind of dinette table (style and color) would go with these two items? (see links below) The walls are white and floor is wood pallete a medium brown. The Dining room living room is a combo so... and also the walls are white. Any ideas?? Ok thanks!!!

Comtemporary/traditional seems to be the style. Depending on your space, I would look for a round table with the option of adding a leaf. Chairs should have upholstered seats to double as additional seating when having a large group over. The coffee brown color would be good. I would pick some coffee and end table that have storage. Apartments can always use more storage. I think micro suede fabric would give the room more warmth than a leather. Storage ottomans are another thing to give additional seating. Area rugs should compliment each other from the dining to the living and I think an abstract pattern or geometric would work for the room. Greens, beige to camel, warm rust, a touch of turquoise blue would give the room the variety and lift it needs. Definitely add a mettalic color to the pallette - whether you like silver or gold.

Estate auctions, however, need some searching around to locate.
Your next source is the on-line auction houses such as ebay and craigslist. You need to be careful with these sources as far as making sure about freight charges and return policies. You may also want to place a simple wanted ad in the bulletin board of your local groceries supermarket. You will be amazed at the responses some of these ads can generate. Of course, trying to off load an old dinette set from a friend is always an option. So if you do not have too much money to spend on a dinette set, do not panic; there is a cheaper solution available around the corner.
